I enjoy rock like Disturbed, Drowning Pool (first album ONLY), The Offspring, and Linkin Park. The foreign Rock groups/artists I like are T.M. Revolution and Gackt.
I like Japanese Pop. "Jpop". Utada Hikaru (sang for Kingdom Hearts), Hirano Aya (sang for the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), and Chihara Minori (sang for Chobits). It's common that pop stars sing for videogames and cartoons, strangely enough!
I also enjoy Daft Punk.
I love the Musicals of Evil Dead, Wicked, Avenue Q, and RENT.
I listen to classical stuff, like Mozart, every now and then. It's so interesting!

I don't watch movies as much as I used to...
But I enjoy Adam Sandler comedies. My favorites would be 50 First Dates and Click.
Pirates of the Carribean was nice.
I also like Memoirs of a Geisha and Howl's Moving Castle.

Memoirs of a Geisha is a must-read!!
My favorite fiction/fantasy author is Diana Wynne Jones. She's been writing for over 40 years!! I like her stories of "Howl's Moving Castle" , "Tough Guide to Fantasy Land" and "The Dark Lord of Derkholm" She writes a great story and adds in comedy. She can make you laugh, cry, and yell through the stories along with the characters or because of them!!
